Kansas City Chiefs will play San Francisco 49ers in LVI Super Bowl

The San Francisco 49ers will play the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl LIV next month.

The Chiefs won the American League championship game, defeating the Tennessee Titans 35-24 on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for 294 yards and three touchdowns and led his team with 53 yards on the ground and a touchdown.

This is the Chiefs' first trip to the Super Bowl since winning the fourth edition, 50 years ago, in 1970.


Raheem Mostert of San Francisco had a great game, running for 220 yards and four touchdowns. He thus becomes the first player in the history of the NFL with this record in a playoff game. 

Meanwhile, the 49ers defeated the Green Bay Packers 37-20 in the National League championship game at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

In 2013 the 49ers lost to the Baltimore Ravens. This is their first trip to the Super Bowl since the XLVII edition. The 49ers have won five Super Bowls in franchise history, being the most recent victory in 1995.

The Super Bowl LIV will be played at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, on February 2.

Demi Lovato will perform at the super bowl edition singing the national anthem, the halftime show will be co-headlined by Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.

Broadcast will be in charge of Fox network.
